Pink Ladders is a resource of inspiration, information and tools to assist women on their climb to career success while recognizing the connection of work and personal life operating in tandem.
We are a repository of stories about individual women climbing their pink ladders as they integrate personal and work life into a fully blended experience. These shared stories show that personal life directs career choices and work goals steer personal choices.
A woman’s life experience involves personal tasks and work tasks that blend with and affect the other. This is evident in the monthly Woman of Focus story sent to newsletter subscribers. Our newsletter reflects a cross section of a woman’s career biography directed by personal experiences and interests. Book, recipe, philanthropy and music important to the Woman of Focus are featured as well to inspire and provide a level of connection to all our readers. This is also a place for our Women of Focus to promote their books and businesses.
Pink Ladders also recognizes the influence of women in history who have climbed their Pink Ladders and made way for those stepping on the rungs today. Pink Ladders has created a blog to post historical awareness stories of women who have contributed to our present experience. This is also a place to hear the playlist of all the music our Women of Focus have contributed, and where the all the books they have written or shared as their favorites, are accessed.
We develop and offer tools for women in climbing their Pink Ladder to life success. All the Women of Focus stories have revealed common denominators: personal and career goals, tasks to meet those goals, and affirmations to keep focused on the goals. We gathered these methods together and created the Task Manager. Pink Ladders offers this tool as a practical method in writing both your personal and work tasks, goals and affirmations – showing your affirmations being directly supported by your goals which are directly supported by your tasks. A Task Manager iPhone app and the book, The Five Rungs to Career Success, are tools available at years end.
Pink Ladders is climbing the Pink Ladder with you and because of you. We are ever evolving using your stories as the impetus behind our direction.
